The flagship versatile rod “Cobra,” known for its smooth, clean bend curve and exceptionally wide lure-weight range, now joins the GT series—designed specifically to withstand the harsh demands of bank fishing. Built on the exact same blanks as the tournament-developed Inspirale Cobra RS Limited, it features a hybrid construction of high-strength/high-modulus TORAYCA® T1100G carbon and flexible 24-ton carbon, achieving a high-performance balance of sharp responsiveness, elasticity, lightness, and toughness.

From the tip through the belly, the Cobra GT uses double-foot titanium frame Torzite guides, identical to the RS, to maximize sharpness, crisp handling, and sensitivity. In the butt section, double-foot stainless steel SiC guides are selected for additional toughness and weight balance, further reinforcing the rod’s powerful, solid feel—ideal for bank anglers who subject a single rod to intense daily use.

The grip uses EVA for long-term durability, with a straight semi-double-hand design that enhances rigidity and noticeably amplifies sensitivity, especially with moving baits. Its weight distribution is optimized for real-world use, allowing it to pair naturally with reels of various sizes and shapes, while delivering the same lightweight feel as the Cobra RS—achieved without requiring an end balancer, a signature characteristic of the Cobra GT.

Covering everything from single-handed spot shooting to long two-handed casting, the Cobra GT handles bladed jigs, spinnerbaits, crankbaits, topwater, mid-size crawler baits, no-sinker shad swimbaits, and light Texas-rig swimming. As a middle-class versatile rod built with premium blanks that lavishly incorporate TORAYCA® T1100G, paired with exceptionally durable components, the Inspirale Cobra GT delivers elite performance at outstanding cost efficiency.

Features

■ Blank

A hybrid composition of 33-ton carbon (approx. 70%) reinforced with TORAYCA® T1100G using Nanoalloy® technology, combined with 24-ton carbon (approx. 30%), blends lightness, sensitivity, sharpness, strength, and controlled flex into a single unified performance curve. To generate power through full-blank loading, the butt section intentionally omits 4-axis reinforcement, while the slim low-taper blank is designed with thick wall construction throughout.

■ Guide System

Instead of popular micro or semi-micro guides, the Cobra GT deliberately adopts large-diameter double-foot guides on all positions. This setup enhances line flow and uses guide weight strategically to promote deeper blank flex.
Titanium frame Torzite rings are used from the tip through the 5th guide to enhance sharp casting feel, lightness, and sensitivity, while stainless steel SiC guides from the 6th to the butt prioritize toughness, weight balance, and added rigidity.
Compared to single-foot guides, the increased thread wrap on double-foot guides produces a firmer, denser feel. Additionally, positioning the butt guide slightly farther forward than standard prevents interference with blank flex and generates powerful swing torque.

■ Foregrip

Eliminated to achieve a foregrip-less design by combining a lightweight winding check with a nut made of high-sensitivity 4-axis carbon.

■ Reel Seat Design

Equipped with the slim, lightweight Fuji ECS reel seat, which emphasizes ease of grip and, above all, high sensitivity through direct blank contact.

Note on reel seat hood color:
The “B color” (black finish) has been discontinued and will be replaced sequentially with the “IC color” (I.P. Shiny Gray). Performance is identical regardless of color.

■ Grip Design

A straight semi-double-hand EVA grip provides durability, rigidity, and excellent weight balance. EVA also offers gentler kickback to the wrist during casting and is resistant to shrinkage or cracking even after long-term use.
