Tsurimusha’s first dedicated giant grouper rod, the Hon Kué 70-480, was developed specifically for targeting massive kué and other large fish species.

The rod features a thick-walled glass blank construction designed to deliver the deep bending power and resilience needed to withstand the crushing runs of giant fish. The tip section incorporates a composite structure combining a glass tubular tip and carbon tubular material, allowing the use of lighter sinkers while maintaining excellent bite detection. A white-colored tip improves visibility during night fishing and helps reduce resistance when fish inhale the bait.

Premium corrosion-resistant and heavy-duty components are used throughout:

• Aluminum butt end compatible with rod holders and butt receivers

The rubber grip section features a double-layer construction with internal sheet reinforcement, making it easier to clean bait residue while also dispersing and reducing shock during heavy fights with large fish.

The aluminum butt cap is designed with grooves compatible with both traditional kué rod butt holders and standard rod rests, expanding its versatility across different fishing styles. A locking screw prevents the butt cap from loosening, while the rear safety fitting is made from durable stainless steel for long-lasting reliability.
