As the second model in the Poison series, Adrena was born from a commitment to practical fishing, and its history has been intertwined with continuous innovation. A key feature of this innovation is the carbon monocoque grip. By removing materials like EVA and cork, which hinder vibration transmission, Adrena ensures superior sensitivity. The 18 Poison Adrena introduced a full carbon monocoque grip, integrated all the way through the reel seat, enhancing clarity of sensitivity. In 2024, the full model change of Poison Adrena adopts an "open-end" design, eliminating the end grip cap to further reduce weight and improve vibration transmission.

By removing the end cap, the rod becomes lighter while maintaining strength with sufficient reinforcement. X-GUIDE 无接触式结构，收线更顺滑

In recent bass fishing, spinning tackle with harder lines like fluorocarbon or PE is becoming standard. While these lines offer many benefits for sensitivity and control, they often have difficulty converging smoothly after being cast, leading to issues like reduced casting distance, line damage, and noise. To address this, the Poison Adrena is equipped with the X-GUIDE Touch-Free system. By redesigning the guide frame from the ground up, it allows the line to smoothly converge without touching the guide frame or blank, significantly reducing casting issues and enhancing distance.
