A glass composite model designed for big bait fishing targeting taimen inhabiting rivers within small jungle environments.

As both the size of taimen and the big baits used to target them have increased, the HGT2-66S was found to lack sufficient power, while models such as HUGE Custom H2N-77R and HG2-70R were not flexible enough to fully absorb the characteristic fighting style of taimen.

To solve this, the rod is built with a low-modulus glass composite blank that bends smoothly and progressively. This allows anglers to control big baits primarily through rod action rather than handle jerks, producing more natural lure movement.

The blank balances the low-modulus flexibility of glass with the strength of carbon, creating an ideal blend of power and resilience. While designed with taimen in mind, it also opens new possibilities for targeting a wide range of predatory species.

In addition, the rod handles mid-weight big baits with ease and performs at a high level with various moving lures, including:
