DAIWA HRF SX GR 80MMHB
概述
The Revival of the Grouper Model! Fusing Power with Sensitivity Born from an Overwhelming Lightweight Tip Feel — This is the Ultimate Modern Grouper Rod Series
- Dedicated Engineering for Grouper Game
The eagerly awaited Grouper-specific model has officially returned to the HRF® series, a lineup that brought the next generation of hard rockfish gaming to life. Engineered to target not only Blackspot Tuskfish/Pheasant Grouper (Kijihata), but also a diverse range of grouper species including Areolate Grouper (Oomonhata) and Hong Kong Grouper (Akahata). The blanks deliver an overwhelming lightweight tip balance (Saki-karu), nimble operability, and superb sensitivity. Equipped with a specialized tip section that detects and evades structures before your sinker can get snagged, this series introduces an unprecedented level of comfort to rock fishing.
What "GR" Stands For:
GR stands for GROUPER (the grouper/rockfish family). While these models previously carried the KJ (Kijihata) moniker, the name has been revised to GR to comprehensively reflect their capability to target the ever-expanding variety of grouper species being pursued by modern anglers.
DAIWA Technologies
- X45 FULL SHIELD

An advanced reinforcing structure that completely neutralizes blank twisting during casting, actioning, hooksetting, and fighting. By wrapping a 45° carbon bias cross sheet over the outermost layer—stretching all the way from the tip where twisting is most severe—it drastically increases torsional rigidity. This unlocks superior casting accuracy and draws out the absolute maximum performance inherent in the blank.
- SVF CARBON

By reducing the amount of resin even further than in our premium HVF carbon, SVF Carbon packs a much higher density of carbon fibers into the blank. This material is the key behind the series' incredible lightness, high torque, and ultra-slim profile.
- AIR SENSOR SEAT

Constructed with carbon fiber, the Air Sensor Seat achieves ultimate weight reduction, high strength, and exceptional sensitivity. Custom-engineered for specific rod applications, it delivers a level of operability that standard, general-purpose reel seats simply cannot match.
(Note: Equipped on Spinning models).
- V-JOINT

By utilizing a bias-structured carbon sheet at the joint sections, the rod achieves a beautiful, seamless bending curve under load, as if it were a one-piece rod. Compared to standard joints, it significantly boosts power, blank crispness, and recovery speed, delivering an ideal rod taper.

- SVF Blanks Balancing Power & Lightness

By wrapping SVF carbon in a specialized multi-layer structure, these rods achieve an unprecedented sense of power and nimbleness despite their slim profiles. The blank flexes precisely according to the casting payload, snapping back to generate incredible casting distance. While the rod feels exceptionally powerful during animations and hooksets, the thick-walled design allows it to cushion heavy runs and maintain stubborn tenacity (粘り/Nebari) once a fish is hooked, drastically minimizing dropped fish.
- Overwhelmingly Lightweight Tip Balance (Saki-Karu Design)

The absolute greatest focal point of the GR models is their lightweight tip-biased balance. It is a feature you won't find on a spec sheet, but one you will notice the moment you hold it—a balance so perfect it feels as if the tip has vanished. By thoroughly eliminating the tip-heavy feel common in high-power rockfish rods, it enables ultra-precise, effortless rig manipulation. This highly responsive tip allows you to map the seabed with ease, sensing the shape of obstacles ahead of time to avoid snagging.
- Lightweight, High-Strength Titanium Frame K-Guides

Every model in the lineup is outfitted with premium, lightweight titanium frame K-Guides. They significantly reduce line tangles and remain rock-solid even under brutal, heavy-duty utilization.
- Tubular Tip Configuration

Employs a high-response tubular tip layout, which is highly essential for crisp rig control in hard rockfish tactics.
- Side-Flat Grip + Ultra-Thick Carbon Pipe Counter-Balancer

Features a specialized side-flat grip design to support aggressive, high-torque winching (Gori-maki) when steering monsters away from structure. The handle incorporates an extra-thick carbon pipe that acts as a counter-balancer to optimize the rod's center of gravity.
- High-Rigidity Put-In Joint with V-Joint

The put-in joint (Nami-tsugi) assembly integrated with V-Joint technology ensures flawless structural strength and power transfer.
- Signature Orange Reel Seat Accents

The reel seat is styled with vivid orange accents, the iconic color representing the fiery grouper game.
