The crisp, sharp feel of the rod is derived from the characteristics of M40X, a 40-ton high-modulus carbon. Its instantaneous response improves hook-setting accuracy and enables maximum casting distance with less effort than before. Exceptional sensitivity delivers subtle bite information directly to the angler’s hand, while unmatched controllability translates directly into better results.

Supporting this performance is T1100G, a 33-ton medium-modulus carbon that enhances overall usability. By assisting smooth bending, it further refines the rod’s action. During casting and fighting, the blank loads deeply and responds powerfully, maintaining strength while remaining supple enough to handle aggressive runs with confidence.

T1100G
World-Class Strength and Power
A 33-ton medium-modulus carbon fiber developed for advanced aerospace, F1, and next-generation space applications. It offers one of the highest tensile strengths available among carbon fibers today. In addition to strength, it enhances rod speed during casting and produces smooth, progressive bending. Uses #2574 Nanoalloy resin.

NANO JOINT – Advanced APIA Technology

The primary weakness of traditional multi-piece rods has always been the joints: increased weight, top-heavy balance, stiffness at connection points, reduced strength, and the inconvenience of loosening during use.

APIA’s proprietary NANO JOINT, developed using NANOALLOY® technology, overcomes these issues. The put-in type NANO JOINT delivers exceptional strength, light weight, excellent balance, and a seamless bending curve that surpasses conventional spigot joints. With ultra-precision grinding achieving a taper tolerance of just 0.002–0.005 mm, joint loosening during fishing is significantly reduced.

Notes:

• NANO JOINTs are finished with ultra-high precision; use as is without modification.
• Use the included joint assist sheet when assembling or disassembling the rod.
• If a joint becomes stuck, cooling the joint area with ice will help contract the carbon and allow easier separation.
