Overview

  1. Insufficient Mixing:
    When mixing using a cup or similar, insufficient mixing will inevitably occur at the edge of the cup. Please try to use the epoxy in the center of the cup as much as possible. After mixing, allow it to stand for a few minutes for degassing and aging.
  2. Crystallization of Main Material:
    The main material crystallizes at low temperatures. White crystals may accumulate at the bottom of the container, resembling sedimentation. Heating (approximately 4-5 minutes at 50 degrees Celsius in a water bath) and stirring will make it usable without any problems.
  3. Deterioration of Hardener:
    Some of the hardener may react with carbon dioxide in the atmosphere and transform into a substance called carbonate. If this occurs, the affected material may not harden properly and may float on the coated surface. With proper management, epoxy materials can be used for several years, so store them upside down to prevent air ingress and take other measures.
  4. Management of Solvents and Cleaners:
    When reusing brushes or cups that have been used once, thoroughly clean and dry them before use, or consider disposable options. Even if you clean them with the brush cleaner we provide, leftover cleaner on the brush or cup may cause improper hardening.
  5. Basic Management of Paint and Coated Surfaces
    Tools necessary for painting must be clean, and the coated surface must also be clean. The oils from hands and hair can cause painting defects. If necessary, degrease with alcohol or similar substances.
