The Super Stallion rod is a jujitsu-style heavy-action rod designed to handle large lures with finesse and power, effortlessly bringing in monster bass. A legendary rod known for its powerful casting ability and intense hooking power, the Kaleido Super Stallion has been reimagined under the Inspirare line, now even stronger and lighter.

Its most distinctive feature lies in the rod's blank characteristics, described by Katsutaka Imae as "jujitsu-style." The rod's incredible strength and resilience come from the ±45° and ±30° manufacturing techniques applied to the full 7’1” length of the blank. This cutting-edge hybrid Super Quattro Cross method further enhances the rod's power.

Additionally, the rod's design includes a semi-micro guide setting and a forgripless design, resulting in dramatic improvements in both lightness and sharpness. The dual improvements of increased durability and reduced weight in the Inspirare series are maximized in this model.

This hyper-power rod represents the ideal balance of strength, precision control, and lightweight handling. It’s not just built to bring in monster fish with ease, but also to ensure you can handle big, finicky bass with flawless precision. The rod's lightness allows you to cast heavy-weight lures like full-sized big baits, 1oz-class heavy spinnerbaits, deep-diving crankbaits over 4 meters, and even heavy jigs and worms, all day long, with full control and minimal fatigue.

If the Inspirare Gunslinger is the striking "stand-up" style heavy-action rod, ideal for aggressive fishing, then the Inspirare Super Stallion is the jujitsu-style submission rod—calmly locking in and overpowering your catch with unyielding force.

Super Stallion (Black Series) Specifications

Blanks:

The rod utilizes the latest Kaleido Super Quattro Cross 4-axis technology throughout its entire length, from the butt to the tip. The primary cross material is low-resin pure carbon. The upper portion, from the tip to the main guide, employs the ±45° method for optimal strength and twist reduction. The lower portion of the butt uses the ±30° method, which provides enhanced reinforcement for even greater power. This hybrid full-wrapping design ensures exceptional durability and strength.

Guide System:

The Super Stallion Black Series is equipped with all double-foot guides, doubling the contact area between the guide foot and thread. This design improves resistance to bending and twisting, enhancing both toughness and torque. It is especially well-suited for handling ultra-big fish and large baits in extreme conditions. The rod is outfitted with Fuji Titanium Frame SiC Ring Guides.

Note: Only the Black Series models "Stallion DG69MH (TKIC-69MH-BK)" and "Super Stallion (TKIC-71MH-BK)" feature all double-foot guides.

Foregrip:

In pursuit of further weight reduction, the foregrip has been eliminated. A cutting-edge winding check design complements the minimalistic aesthetic, while the 4-axis carbon sleeve nut enhances both lightness and sensitivity.

Reel Seat Design:

The rod features a slender and lightweight Fuji ECS reel seat, emphasizing ease of grip and sensitivity with its blank-touch design. The Black Series reel seat is accented with a Black Mica color, adding to the premium appearance of this top-tier model.

Signature:

Each Black Series reel seat carries the kanji signature of Katsutaka Imae, signifying its special production status under his guidance.

Grip Design:

The Black Series adopts a separate grip design to prioritize maneuverability and weight reduction. The center and rear grips are made of EVA material, which minimizes kickback during casting and ensures smooth control when using heavier lures or performing continuous casts with moving baits. EVA is also known for its high durability, resisting wear or cracking over long periods of use. The grip end features an original end plate inspired by a kaleidoscope, and the grip itself is detachable.
