Matsuyama’s concept is to provide the highest quality in everything. In addition to adopting the patented two-stage pipe, the length of the lower pipe is set to 5mm or less to achieve the ultimate “sit”. The V-shaped lead is also more precise and maintains outstanding stability. The SIC ring used in the head not only realizes outstanding line slippage, but is also very effective in reliably stopping the float stopper line (Matsuda type). This is directly linked to fishing results in situations where it is difficult to re-adjust the line once it has come off, such as fishing spots with fast tides. In addition, two-stage types such as 5-5 and 6-6 are also available for use at relatively shallow depths. Use them when you want to maintain a more strict straightness in fishing spots where the fish are not biting well. The surface is also painted with a special matte finish that is unique to Matsuyama and blends well with the tides.
