Reborn after eight years, the PPJ series transitions from its iconic white blank to a striking Ocean Blue finish. Incorporating Toray’s revolutionary TORAYCA® T1100G carbon material, the updated B60-PPJ achieves dramatic increases in power, structural strength, and elasticity. Designed specifically for expedition jigging in shallow depths down to 150 m, it handles slow-pitch lures from 250 g to 500 g as well as high-pitch presentations with exceptional versatility.

Built with a Regular Slow Taper, the blank features a high-rebound belly section capable of working high-pitch jigs for kingfish (Hiramasa) during drift fishing ("Doterra"). When loaded under heavy pressure, the rod's deep-bending butt section absorbs raw fish violence, floating giant groupers, trophy amberjacks, and massive pelagics smoothly to the surface while maintaining maximum angler leverage.
