XESTA Catapult S83-6

An offshore casting rod series developed specifically for targeting tuna and large yellowtail kingfish.

By combining the power blank technology refined through jigging with the casting blank technology cultivated in shore jigging, XESTA has created a dedicated offshore casting game rod series. The first models are designed for tuna and large yellowtail kingfish, enabling long-distance casting of diving pencils and poppers while delivering precise approaches to feeding boils. The new offshore casting game series “Catapult” begins its expansion into a wide variety of offshore fields from here.

GUIDE SYSTEM

Equipped with P color MN guide (SiC-J, SiC-S), which boasts a sufficient track record in strength, with all-double wrapping. The top guide is equipped with a P color MN top (SiC-J) that eliminates line entanglement and maintains strength. A guide system that can withstand long-term fights.

GRIP DESIGN

The DPS reel seat, which has a good reputation for holding performance, is painted in matt black to improve the hold feeling when gripped. In addition, a locknut is installed to prevent the reel hood from loosening.

JOINT

A joint system that reduces the power loss of the rod as much as possible with a grip joint.

BAT END

By making the butt end a gimbal specification, it supports the holding of the rod during fighting. Since the gimbal cap (BRC22) is attached at the time of shipment, it corresponds to various fight styles.
