EKC510L/LMG "Operator Custom" — A short-length model specialized for games using jerkbaits and topwater plugs

A short-length specialty rod built together with pro staff Takeshi Yokoi, known as a master of the jerkbait. It's a best match for the technical approach of working shoreline cover with 9–13cm jerkbaits or small, operation-focused hard baits fitted with treble hooks. Built with the new "Premium Flex" blank, using ultra-low-modulus 10-ton carbon as the base material and reinforced with aramid synthetic fiber. Though it has the supple feel that showcases the advantages of a low-modulus material, combining it with a high taper that releases power cleanly and recovers quickly enables pinpoint-accurate casting and crisp action input over a short travel distance. In jerkbait fishing especially, catching the resistance of the retrieve in the belly section makes line-tension control easy, delivering both sharp action input and a firm, decisive stop. Combined with a lightweight balance design that puts no strain on the wrist even after a full day of repeated jerking, it offers the ease of handling only a dedicated rod can give. And despite its light power, it's fitted with a hard butt section that firmly takes on the load at full bend, so it also hides the power to comfortably handle a big fish around cover.
