■ The BC4 5.10 series gets a model change as the Power Gripz Edition

Despite being a powerful 4-piece rod, it bends dramatically from the center of the rod with a fast recovery, making it easy to generate distance and send the lure out like a bullet on a line drive. And its ability to work a fish is in a class of its own.

The entire #4 grip section has been redesigned, with improved grip and durability.

1. Power Grip — True to the name, fitting a rubber grip to the butt of the #4 section improves slip resistance and makes it easier to hold on firmly and fight a big fish.
2. Reel Seat — Uses a blank-touch design. The reel seat itself has been made slimmer, so it's easier to hold firmly.
3. Under-Trigger Grip — Now fully EVA.
4. End Grip — Changed to composite cork and EVA. Composite cork was chosen for its high coefficient of friction, resistance to slipping, appropriate resilience, and improved durability.

Ideal for casting big baits and big swishers accurately with a light touch, using a tough, resilient body, as well as for deep crankbaits with heavy retrieve resistance. Within the same BC4 5.10 series, the LH and MXH bend through the body to absorb shock during the fight, while the XH is built to keep its core rigidity right up to the extreme limit.
