In 2020, the Saltiga rod evolved further, with the lightweight jigging rod "R" series for offshore use and the "AP" series for targeting big fish making their debut with new blank technology. It's the next-generation rod from Daiwa that shows their serious commitment.

Saltiga SJ AGS

Highly elastic yet capable of intense bending fights, the next-generation full solid SJ rod!

The TG series features full solid blanks that achieve both high elasticity and strength. By equipping the lightweight and high-rigidity 'AGS' on the shorter blank, operability and sensitivity are significantly improved. This model enhances maneuverability for fish that don't respond to slow and fall movements, allowing for high-pitched jerks without a fall to entice them. Even after hooking, the full solid design ensures high strength, allowing for a satisfying bending fight with confidence.

It adopts R-frame 'AGS' (N, C ring) to enhance sensitivity, particularly crucial for slow jigging, achieving improved sensitivity unique to 'AGS'. The X45 full shield supports the popping action, tightening the blank's outer perimeter with X45 even in thrilling games, enabling an unexpectedly high rebound.

This is the company's first full solid model as a slow jigging rod. It realizes the strength possible with the Mega Top.

The HVF Nano Plus blank, with high rebound and sensitivity, firmly launches jigs with the blank and allows setting them sideways.

55B-4	The 55B-4 is a large fish model that primarily targets pelagic fish and even tuna. The 55B-4 TG is one level up in power from the #3, targeting larger fish such as pelagic fish and tuna, including yellowtail and yellowfin tuna, as the main targets.
