In addition to a precise length setting that's easy to control even in fishing spots with large tidal ranges, the sturdy rod body maintains stable and reliable retrieval even in harsh conditions like strong winds.
The enlarged drain hole at the tip improves airflow and allows for faster casting, enabling you to retrieve fish into the net more quickly and reliably than ever before.
The newly added anti-jamming structure ensures safe use even in situations where rapid casting or vertical retrieval of large fish is prone to jamming; it also boasts powerful performance capable of handling increasingly common large fish species such as red sea bream and grouper.
In black sea bream float fishing in areas like the Seto Inland Sea where the difference in height between the surface and the fishing spot is small, a "horizontal" casting motion with the handle is often required.
To reduce the most common "tawami" problem in these areas, this rod uses the same body design as the TOURNAMENT ISO Tawami H55 grade, enhancing tension and improving the accuracy of retrieving fish into the net. Featuring a new anti-jamming function, it significantly reduces the hassle of jamming, resulting in smoother operation.

X45
Addressing the torsion that occurs during casting and fighting, DAIWA's years of research have determined that 45° offers the best torque resistance. X45 brings revolutionary optimization to power and handling, with a structure that prevents rod breakage due to torsion. Compared to previous designs (0° and 90° for the rod body), the DAIWA-exclusive BIOS CLOTHES (±45° angled carbon fiber) not only prevents twisting but also enhances power, handling, and sensitivity.

New Anti-Seizing Joint Structure
A locking structure is incorporated at the joints of each section to prevent excessive elongation and subsequent jamming. Even when catching large fish such as grouper or red sea bream, or in situations where sections are prone to elongation, such as high-altitude breakwaters, jamming is effectively prevented, allowing for unimpeded handling.

Reinforced Mouth Area (#2 to the base rod)
A metal ring is applied to the mouth area to prevent chipping, ensuring reliable use even in harsh environments like fishing spots. Furthermore, the entire rod, from section #2 to the base, is reinforced with interwoven carbon fiber, significantly increasing the strength of the mouth area.
