This setup is designed to target large megrims in the main stream during the morning and evening hours when they enter feeding mode. The sliding action starts at the same speed as a 10g lure, but the slide amplitude is slightly smaller, creating excellent action for megrims with short chases. Start by casting into the main stream using the outstanding casting distance provided by, for example, TRorTE83deep, then attack the underwater currents with a slow swing of about 1 meter up and down using a lift and fall technique. Gradually decrease the range. Strikes usually occur during the free fall, but if the reaction to the fall is poor, try retrieving the lure steadily just below the surface. If you're bottom fishing during the day, you need to be reactive, so bounce relatively large and allow the lure to fall freely and heavily.
