MagTrax™ Brake System
Abu Garcia's MagTrax brake system utilizes a simple, reliable structure to prevent backlash. The number of internal magnets can be adjusted to match your casting skill. Its characteristics ensure that braking engages immediately upon lure release during a cast, effectively preventing backlash even when using lures with high air resistance in headwinds. It also enables pinpoint accuracy when pitching lightweight rigs or casting at short distances. It comes equipped with six magnets by default.

Cam-Lock Lever
