SHIMANO × jackall 2023 Poison Glorious 273ML+
Overview
The crossover re:evolution between Jackall and Shimano, which started in 2011, was the epitome of wisdom and technology, embodying the very concept of "pioneering."
Relentless challenges lead to new stages.
One rod, one style, showing further deepening.
The third generation Glorious pursued the true 'fighting rod'.
The Poison Glorious, which was born to win in the extreme world of tournaments, has undergone further evolution and been reborn. The third generation model of the racing rod analyzes not only the top tournament scene but also the characteristics of local fields nationwide, pursuing a new standard action. By making full use of the latest technology such as Spiral X Core, it derives the 'true lightness' based on numerical evidence for each lure's different operation, and maintains sharpness while smoothing the connection of materials with further developed NEW UBD (Ultimate Blanks Design). The ideal form as a tool is here. It is the birth of the "winning rod" of the new era."
Poison Glorious 273ML+
Deep area or long-range search with a swimming jig head special.
A long approach spinning rod capable of handling big lakes and river games requiring long casting performance. With a low-taper blanks design, it offers excellent casting performance to deliver heavy rigs like swimming jig heads to far distances. Equipped with ML Plus butt power, it can firmly set hooks even during retrieve, ensuring the ability to control monster-class bass. Featuring an [Excite Top] to increase the amplitude of the rod tip, it also accommodates shaking techniques like mid-stroke and neko rigs, showcasing its versatility.
Carbon Monocoque Grip (Reverse Flare Shape) :
A triangular-shaped grip molded into a reverse flare shape. The flat surface directed upwards enhances the fit to the forearm and improves the stability of the grip held by the elbow.
Perfection Seat VI (CI4+) :
A lightweight reel seat with cutouts in areas that won't affect finger contact when the reel is attached. By also reducing the height of the trigger, it enables smooth grip changes after casting.
*Adopted for baitcasting models.
Perfection Seat CI4+ :
A seat designed to enhance grip. Even when lightly held, the grip remains effective, allowing for precise manipulation of the delicate rod action as intended.
*Adopted for spinning models.
Grip Joint :
Long items adopt a two-piece structure of the grip joint to enhance portability.
*Adopted for lengths 6'7" and above.
Hybrid Guide Configuration :
A guide setting that combines different materials, utilizing titanium frames for the top to tip guides and stainless steel frames for the butt guides. By intentionally adding weight to the guides closer to the handle, it reduces the burden of additional weight.
Original Grip End Badge :
A dedicated badge adorned with the brand logo of Jackall × Shimano is placed at the grip end. This tightens the appearance around the grip and fulfills the angler's sense of ownership.
Dedicated Rod Bag :
For bait type rods, a high-cushion urethane tip cover is used, while for spinning type rods, a lightweight nylon tip cover that does not burden the tip is adopted.
