Flatfish-Specific Rod – "FLATREK"
FLATREK 5G

"Flatrek" is a coined word combining flatfish and trekking, designed for anglers who cover ground on foot in search of flatfish. As the name suggests, this series was developed to reduce fatigue during long sessions of walking and fishing. Incorporating the newly developed R360 structure and Toray's cutting-edge T1100G carbon material, combined with carefully selected components, this rod is both lightweight and exceptionally smooth during casting.
Thanks to its well-balanced design, the FLATREK 5G is ideal for anglers who want to actively search for promising points from sunrise to sunset. The series consists of two models tailored for different wave, wind, and fishing conditions.
R360 Structure

By aligning carbon fibers in four directions—Straight (vertical), Fade (right diagonal), Draw (left diagonal), and Side (horizontal)—the blank achieves both power and stiffness while remaining extremely lightweight. Unlike conventional carbon tape reinforcements on the blank surface, the R360 structure uses multi-axial carbon sheets directly in the blank composition. Carbon layouts are adjusted according to each blank section's role, resulting in a structure that supports force from 360 degrees—the ultimate blank construction.
Toray T1100G Carbon

This high-performance carbon material leverages Toray's nanolevel fiber structure control technology, achieving both high strength and high modulus. Used in aerospace and other fields requiring extreme performance, this material delivers cutting-edge reliability to the rod.
Fuji SIC Guides

Equipped with Fuji’s SIC guides, specially arranged to enhance strength, sensitivity, and line stability. The original guide setting improves overall casting and retrieval performance.
FR5-1002M

A versatile model ideal for calm surf conditions. It can handle everything from lightweight jig heads and minnows to standard 20g lures and even jigs exceeding 30g. Perfect for anglers who want to adapt with a wide range of lures for various fishing spots.
- Tip Section: Highly responsive to lure movement and sensitive enough to detect subtle bites from pressured fish.
- Butt Section: Strong enough for long-distance casting with jigs around 30g when needed.
