Heartland 722LRS-21
The HL 722LRS-21 is a rod crafted by Haruhiko Murakami, enhancing and adapting the techniques of the original Saekake MIDGE DIRECTION and the further refined Saekake LEVEL DIRECTION to modern fishing requirements, making it easy to handle for everyone. Based on the full tubular taper balance of the original MIDGE DIRECTION, this rod has been extended by 6 inches to improve castability. It possesses the power level of the LEVEL DIRECTION class, allowing for effective line slack control with its tubular tip even at long casting distances.
This design enables a unique form of light lure fishing, known as "fuwa" fishing, making the HL 722LRS-21 a distinctive rod that stands apart from the original MIDGE DIRECTION and LEVEL DIRECTION, perfecting a new category in finesse fishing rods. This model encapsulates the essence of both predecessor models while offering enhancements that cater to the modern angler’s needs for versatility and ease of use.
