With the creation of the [RetroGrade], a rod featuring a TipRun eging taper designed to convey the subtle signals of targets from deep areas, we have been able to reintroduce to many anglers the factor of fishing that involves 'hooking on sight', which can be described as a return to the most fun and aggressive origins of fishing. However, several years have passed since the birth of tip run, and with new discoveries, the performance demands we place on rods have gradually evolved. RetroGrade-X has achieved further evolution by inheriting the 'bite' detection of the original RetroGrade while changing the material of the tip. By using carbon solid that is not merely soft but optimally tense, it clearly communicates the subtle signals from distant targets to the angler. However, RetroGrade-X deliberately avoids automatic actions. It is a rod meant for anglers who prefer to manually detect the 'bite', apply tension to the tip with their skill, and engage in a hands-on style of fishing.

RGXC-66S-OMSP [ Omorig Special ]

This is the only grip joint model in the series of bait type Omorig rods. The section from near the center of the reel seat to the grip end is set to about 490mm, allowing for underarm style fishing. In sea conditions where fast currents require the use of sinkers heavier than 40 grams, bait tackle reduces physical strain. If bites occur directly under the boat, there is no need to cast, and it is easier to perform slow enticing movements with bait tackle. Additionally, it is easier to determine the depth where bites occur when using a reel with a counter. The rod is set with a slightly slow taper, making it also suitable for squid metal games using electric reels.

HANDLE :

The reel seat is coated with soft rubber, which fits comfortably in the hand. The J-Model features a double-lock system.

BLANK :

The J-Model uses four-axis carbon near the base of the rod to reduce wobbling during lure action. Other models also feature unique carbon tape wrapping to achieve sharp lure action.

GUIDE :

The J-Model features Fuji titanium frame SIC rings, which offer both strength and flexibility, while the standard models use stainless steel frame SIC guides. For the tip, which is critical for detecting bites, a highly visible fluorescent yellow thread is used.

END :

It is an epoxy type with an original mark. The rubber is designed in a concave shape, making it less prone to damage.
