When using a lure with weak tension, the line has extremely low stretch and is highly sensitive, and the torqueful tenacity unique to nylon prevents unexpected line breaks just before the limit of strength. Nylon also has excellent knot strength. In addition, since it is a more flexible material than fluorocarbon, nylon lines are less likely to get tangled, have reduced guide resistance, and have superior casting distance.
