TRANSCENDENCE Galupa 86B
Overview
Galupa86B is a hard rock shore bait rod that can be adjusted to 8.6ft and 9.5ft. Galupa86B is a rod that can overwhelm rock fish and game fish that cling to roots such as taman all over Japan.
The blanks design has made it a blank that combines the overall tenacity and tension necessary for rock shore games. A firm tip section can dodge roots firmly. again,
The entire rod receives the torqueful thrust peculiar to rockfish and does not give the initiative.
Developed to win the battle of "do it or be beaten" from the moment you hook it.

It is a rod that has been completed over 4 years for anglers who are seriously enjoying rockfish games and challenging themselves.
Story of development :
The number one problem in the development of Galupa86B was how much "tension and hardness" could be given to the tip.
When aiming for rockfish, tip tension is essential to avoid rooting. However, when it was reproduced with a multi-piece rod, the balance of the entire rod deteriorated, leading to breakage.
Since the risk of breakage cannot be avoided with the conventional fast taper of rockfish rods, we settled on the idea of increasing the power of the entire rod and making it a regular taper.
This resulted in a very hard and sticky rod. In addition, the rod itself bends without stretching, so if a person who can swing the bait rod uses it, it can give a different dimension of flight distance.
Meaning of 8.6ft and 9.5ft :
The Galupa 8.6ft version is the best length for situations where you don't need to cast long distances or for attacking roots around your feet. In addition, a balancer weight of 30g is installed for anglers who like the center of gravity at hand. Therefore, it has a length and balance that best fits lift and fall fishing like Texas and free rigs.
For anglers who aim for tortoiseshell and greenling in the Tohoku region, and for anglers who aim for red grouper and pheasant grouper, it is essential to keep the rod upright to avoid rooting.
At around 8ft, you can focus on your hands, but you can't avoid the roots in front of you, and you can't increase the lift height. Conversely, if it is in the 9ft range, the weight of the weakening will come out. The length that solved the frustration of such a subtle length was 8.6ft.
The Galupa 9.6ft version is the best length for jig head swimming that requires long casts. Until now, there has never been a tough bait rod that can control the direction of the head and apply pressure to the fish at the end of a long cast of 70m-80m, such as the giant grouper, stingray, and taman.
Galupa has been tested many times with large giant groupers and Tamans, and was able to put overwhelming power into the blanks.
Also, the extension section of Galupa does not have a guide. A traditional Trans system would have to remove the thread from the guide once and add an extension section. Galupa can change the length instantly according to the situation of the rock on the spot.
I think that Galupa, which can be used in two different lengths on a rocky beach that is not comfortable, will be a great help for anglers who are aiming for rock fish stoically.
Committed to Quality :
We are particular about the length and balance of the grip end. The length of the grip end of Galupa 86B is 365mm. This is the last length that does not get in the way of short casting when attacking the root circumference, and is easy to apply force when making long casts. In addition, the EVA length of the rear grip is longer than the conventional separate type grip. The reason for this is that when hooking, the fish is often held between the sides, and in such cases, it is difficult to slip and it is easier to apply force to the sides.
Also, the balance of the entire rod is very important in rockfish games. I was especially particular about the balance of the 8.6ft version.
It is designed so that the center of gravity is in the palm of your hand when a 300 series reel is attached, so you can carefully explore the bottom without getting tired when fishing for lift and fall. In addition, since the angle of the rod can always be kept at a high position, it can be sent firmly after the bite, and the hooking rate is also improved. Although it is a multi-piece rod, it has a balance that surpasses conventional rock fish game rods.
Guide Setting :
The biggest advantage of using a bait rod when playing rock shore rockfish games is that you can insert a long leader.
Galupa86B is set so that PE5 60lb leader can be put in 2 Hiro without problems.
KG6 is used for the top guide. In addition, LRV guides are used for other guides.
Since the main line and leader are thicker, the load on the guide during casting increases.
The single guide makes it easier to bend, and the conventional KW guide makes you worried about the tip weight.
The LRV guide solves the two points, and the RV guide has good thread removal, so the guide diameter is reduced.
