Why does TRANSCENDENCE dare to make a multi-piece rod for sea bass rods? That's because we didn't have a rod that fits our fishing and a pack rod of the quality that users want. I needed a sea bass rod that had extraordinary passion and could keep shaking like a part of my own body, even if I kept shaking for hours.

And the pack rod that was in the past broke easily and well. That is the fact. The TRANSCENDENCE multi-piece rod does not break easily. I want you to feel the feelings for the rod created by those who understand the meaning of the rod breaking at the expedition destination.

Currentes is the crystallization of TRANSCENDENCE technology that achieves high-dimensional flight distance, sensitivity, and operability. It took a long time to develop this rod. Designing a multi-piece rod is not easy. As the number of pieces increases, distortion is likely to occur, and if properly designed, it will be reborn as a super comfortable rod that surpasses even a 1-piece rod. Currentes82S + is a rod that is filled with the feelings of an extraordinary angler in the rod designed by Tadashi Yamane and Katayama centered on Noboriishi and Kimura.

Not to mention the lightness and robustness of the entire rod, the performance required for this length of Currentes is long-distance casting performance, accuracy, cast feel, sensitivity, and lifting power. While having a long-distance casting performance that can cast a lure of around 8g to reach the break line off the coast, it has achieved a rod balance that can swing through a vibration of 28g.

Since the structure game of the harbor part is also considered, the cast accuracy (accuracy) is also developed with the # 1 section (tip section) as the material. I repeated the test thoroughly because it is the section that sends out the lure at the end. If this blurs, the accuracy will decrease.

The cast feel depends on the availability of the reaction force of the entire blank against the conforming weight. We adjusted the material and thickness of each section so that the reaction force of the entire carbon blank can be transmitted to the lure, and thoroughly pursued the cast feel while maintaining the robustness.

Sensitivity is an important factor for anglers to catch underwater information. A blank is constructed with highly elastic carbon as the main axis. I scraped off the excess so that I can concentrate on the sensitivity when I pick up the rod. Pursuing weight reduction by using Torzite guides abundantly as guides. By thoroughly creating 8.2ft, we focused on dramatically improving long-distance casting performance while maintaining the accuracy, cast feel, sensitivity, and lifting power of 8.2ft. Designed as a system that adds a # 4 section to 8.2ft and builds it to 9.8ft. By shifting the point of action of the force applied to the rod when throwing the same lure, it is possible to receive the lure force over the entire blank and convert it into reaction force.

It is designed to maximize the reaction force of the entire rod when casting jigs and sinking pencils weighing 28g or more on the surf. The long-distance casting performance of the Currentes 98S was achieved by the testers and designers working closely with them.

By adopting a variable balancer system for the balance of this long rod, you should be able to notice the lightness when you pick it up. It should be a part of the angler's body that allows you to keep casting for hours without losing focus.
