Currentes82S+ is a multi-piece rod dedicated to sea bass, packed with the passion and expertise of TRANSCENDENCE's multi-piece rod technology.

It's a multi-piece rod for sea bass that can be adjusted to lengths of 8.2ft and 9.8ft. The packed size is 550mm, making it suitable for domestic and international expeditions, including carry-on size for air travel. This length enhances convenience even in overseas fields.

Why did TRANSCENDENCE choose to make a multi-piece rod for sea bass? Because there wasn't a pack rod of the quality and fit for their own fishing needs and what users were seeking. It required extraordinary passion to develop a sea bass rod that one could continue to cast for hours, feeling like an extension of their own body.

In the past, pack rods were easily broken. That's a fact. TRANSCENDENCE's multi-piece rods are not easily broken. Those who understand the significance of a rod breaking during expeditions have poured their hearts into creating these rods.

Currentes is the culmination of TRANSCENDENCE's technology, achieving long casting distance, sensitivity, and maneuverability at a high level. It took a long time to develop this rod. Designing a multi-piece rod is not easy. As the number of pieces increases, so does the risk of distortion. However, with careful design, it can transform into a rod that surpasses even a one-piece rod in comfort.

CR82S (4pc+Grip) for urban side and river lure fishing

This is the short length version of the 8.2ft Currentes rod.

Besides the overall lightness and robustness of the rod, the performance sought after in this length of Currentes includes casting distance, accuracy, casting feel, sensitivity, and lifting power. It possesses the casting ability to reach the offshore break line with lures weighing around 8 grams, while also maintaining the rod balance to handle 28-gram vibrations.

Considering the structure game in harbor areas, accuracy in casting was a priority. Hence, the #1 section (tip section) was developed with particular attention to material. It underwent thorough testing as it is the section that ultimately casts the lure. Any deviation here would compromise accuracy.

Casting feel depends on utilizing the overall blank reaction to the appropriate weight. Material and thickness adjustments were made for each section to transmit the blank's reaction to the lure efficiently, maintaining robustness while prioritizing casting feel.

Sensitivity is crucial for anglers to interpret underwater information. The blank is constructed primarily with high-elasticity carbon, with excess material trimmed to allow concentration on sensitivity when holding the rod. Torzite guides were extensively used to pursue lightweight design. Additionally, adjustable balance weights allow anglers to select optimal settings for themselves with 8.2ft and 9.8ft options (planned: 0, 7, 14, 21g).

Lastly, lifting power. TRANSCENDENCE developed this rod not only for domestic but also international use, making lifting power to bring in fish a crucial factor. Achieving both lifting power and casting distance was a challenge. The #5 section serves as a common section for 8.2ft and 9.8ft. Designing this section was particularly challenging, but testers were satisfied with the achieved casting distance and lifting power.

CR98S (5pc+Grip) for Surf game and river lure fishing

This is the long length version of the 9.8ft Currentes rod.

By thoroughly refining the 8.2ft version, while maintaining the accuracy, casting feel, sensitivity, and lifting power of the 8.2ft, we also focused on significantly increasing the casting performance. Designed with the addition of a #4 section to the 8.2ft to assemble it into a 9.8ft system. This design allows for the shifting of the point of force acting on the rod when casting the same lure, enabling the entire blank to receive and convert the force of the lure into reaction.

The design allows the entire rod to maximize its reaction when casting jigs or sinking pencils weighing over 28 grams in the surf. The long casting performance of the Currentes98S was achieved through careful attention from testers and designers.

The balance of this long rod should be noticed for its variable balance system, offering a light feel when held. It should become a part of the angler's body, allowing for continuous casting without losing concentration for hours.
