The new LDL Evo Leader follows the taper configuration from the previous LDL Leader, with a butt section, a steep first taper section, and a slack second taper section. It consists of four parts: 2 taper section, tippet section, and 4 sections. The 2nd taper section also serves as a tippet, and has two sections without knots. The tippet structure is its main feature. The material is a slightly hard, high-strength nylon material that is easy to remove kinks from, and it has a special coating. This combination increases durability. The high-strength nylon material reduces the difference in material texture (hardness) between the leader and tippet, and the LDL fluoro. It is compatible with tippets and has improved connection strength. This special coating also improves water drainage, and improves drift performance and hook strength. These improvements also contribute to the king performance. Turnover performance and control performance have also improved. This has become an essential leader for the long leader tippet system, allowing you to experience long drifts without any problems.
