The high-end model in the legitimate lineage of the Smith Original "Troutin' Spin," the Troutin Spin "Il Flusso," has shaped the history of trout rods. Introduced in 2019 and supported by many anglers, the first-generation Il Flusso has reached its five-year mark, and its next-generation model is finally complete.

With years of history and experience as a pioneer in trout rods, along with evolved materials and manufacturing technologies, its refinement has reached a level of maturity. Each model, with a clear concept, will not only impress experts in streams, lakes, and main rivers but will also surely satisfy owners as a piece of equipment.

Target Field: Headwaters, Small Streams Covered with Overgrowth

This rod can be considered a standard model for stream fishing. It features a highly responsive tip that excels in twitching and facilitates precise, pinpoint casting to enhance comfort and accuracy. Additionally, the transition from the belly to the butt of the rod provides a reassuring stiffness, allowing for confident fights against sizable trout lurking in the currents. It's suitable for a wide range of lures, including heavy sinking minnows, spoons, spinners, minnows, and shads, making it a versatile choice for various lure types.

Newly Designed Blanks :

The newly designed blanks focus on high operability. These are not only manifested in short-length models, which demand high responsiveness and precise casting but also in long-length models that require a full cast and the ability to feel and approach with accuracy afterward.

Optimized Settings for Each Model :

Each model handles different lures and methods. To maximize the benefits of each, the guide settings have been reviewed and optimized for all models.

Original NEW Grip :

The new design for the grip is slimmer and easier to hold, providing a lighter feel during operation and stronger support during casting and fighting.

Grip: High-grade cork grip. The reel seat is made from natural wood with a down-locking mechanism.

Joints: Depending on the model, either reverse ferrule or inro ferrule is used.

• Reverse Ferrule: Applicable models include TILF-72TR, TILF-83TR, TILF-87BTS.

• Inro Ferrule: Applicable models include TILF-48TR, TILF-53TR, TILF-88TR.

Guides:

All models feature Fuji titanium frames. The top guide is SiC, and all other guides are equipped with SiC-S rings. Each model has optimized guide settings.

① Equipped with a hook keeper to support mobility while the hook is set, which is also convenient for holding a snap in place.

② Down-locking mechanism: The reel foot is supported by the hood on the fore side, and the upper cork part is screwed in to secure it. The hood includes a resin part to facilitate alignment during reel foot insertion, and it is engraved with "OLTRE IL FLUSSO" (Beyond the Flow) as both a guide and a decorative feature.

③ The end cap is made of rubber, which prevents the rod from slipping or getting scratched when leaned against rocks. A laser-engraved metal ring in the center protects the rod from scratches.
