Development background where D-DIRECT was required

Large pools always have a good size, regardless of the season. However, when it comes to a deep pool over 2m, the difficulty level of capture rises at once. Although the reaction of "glare" is confirmed in the 1st and 2nd throws, it is a phenomenon near the bottom far deeper than the lure. After that, it seems that most of the patterns are that it gets threaded more and more and gives up around the 10th throw.
The content of this 10-odd throw also changes the casting position, changes the color lure, and of course tries to fall with a spoon to trace near the bottom and reeling, but it does not lead to fishing results.

When I encountered such a big pool, I took the style of throwing a few fish with a reaction in the upper layer by D-contact and aiming for fishing in the upstream flow quickly. After all, I didn't feel that it would lead to fishing results.
But as mentioned above, there is always a good size in a large pool. Furthermore, it seems that they are only there at the beginning of the season. I want to do something about it. After all, the capture of this pool and the deep field was also a challenge for me.

1. Where are the fish? (Fig. 1)

The upper layer near the dip is a violent flow, but when there is a depth, the flow is quite calm when going to a depth of 1 m or more. If it is 3m downstream from the depression, the area near the bottom seems to be a very comfortable place for fish to live in. I understand that the upper waves act as a curtain, especially for large, vigilant fish, and are a great place to protect yourself from bird dives.

2. Where is the lure tracing? (Fig. 2) The

spoon seems to sink with a stone, but it sinks while being swept away unexpectedly while fluttering. A normal deep diver system reels to the front and reaches the maximum depth. D-CONTACT can trace 10 to 30 cm below a normal sinking minnow.

3. Dead zone (Fig. 3) Even

if you trace far above the localization range of the fish as shown in Fig. 2 or reach the localization range behind the fish, you cannot expect a bite. There is a dead zone in the shaded area that cannot be captured by conventional lures.

Reach the localization depth in front of the fish and eat it with various dances by rod action and inertial slide.

D-DIRECT usage

1. Reach an unknown depth area When you

fall after landing, it sinks from the tail with the lip facing up. It takes 3 seconds to sink 1m (depending on the conditions such as flow strength and line thickness). It reaches the bottom much faster than a normal minnow. The reason is the weight of 6g built in to a volume smaller than D-CONTACT and the sinking posture due to the rear fixed center of gravity.

After landing, lower the tip and quickly reel. Let the lip that seems to be huge for the 55mm body say something and force a rapid dive. It reaches a depth of 2m with a reeling of 3m.

2. be eaten in the "inertia slide"

Wobu & roll by Lee ring, slide action, such as staggered by Tuitchingu. The powerful high-speed short jerk with the rod standing up makes the fluttering dirt action full of appeal. Invite a bite with the "inertia slide" that occurs between actions. It has a wonderful ability to avoid fluttering when bottom contacting with bottom stones, etc., enabling aggressive fishing.

3. Range control and its tips

D-DIRECT will try to dive as long as you keep applying water pressure to the lip. The same is true for twitches and jerks. If you want to trace a depth of 1m, if you think you have reached a depth of about 1m by falling or reeling, add an action with a rod. At this time, if you apply a strong and long action, it will gradually go deeper than 1 m. You can gradually swim up by adding a weak and short action.

This is the trick, and if you can cheat and take action gently, range control is OK. Heterogeneous glitter due to different holograms, "character", silent weight, etc. are the same appealing power as D-CONTACT, and details are made to enhance fishing power.
