SHIMANO 25 Force Master 300DH
Overview
Make light fishing from a boat more flexible and comfortable. The Force Master 300 is perfect for a variety of styles, including tenaya tachiuo (tearfish) fishing, electric tairaba (sea bream rubber), and electric metal squid jigs. Its versatility expands the possibilities of fishing.
In 2025, the Force Master 300 has evolved even further. The newly added Touch Drive Speed Lock, Tanshinmaru Screen, and new fall lever provide more intuitive and comfortable operation. Furthermore, its PE 1.5/200m line capacity makes it suitable for a wide range of fields and situations.
The spool-free performance equivalent to that of a manual reel dramatically improves sensitivity in technical light fishing from a boat. It truly is your "light fishing partner" that supports your fishing with freedom.
*1: Body size
*2: The Tanshinmaru Screen and Tanshinmaru Scale can be used on all boats equipped with the Tanshinmaru main unit. The Accufish function and fish depth display are only available on boats equipped with an Accufish-compatible main unit.
This product does not contain a lithium battery. To maximize the reel's performance, we recommend using a high-capacity battery (such as our BT Master 11AH).

Lightweight and compact body with added line capacity
The reel's smaller S-compact body reduces weight and improves palming performance. The reduced palming height of the body allows for a firm grip on the rod, facilitating the agile operation required for light fishing, such as jerking the bait and luring the fish to bite. It's easy to grip, even for women and children with small hands, and features like the Touch Drive Speed Lock and Speed Clutch allow you to freely control the reeling speed with just one thumb. In response to angler requests, the line capacity has also been increased. Available in 400m of PE 0.8, 300m of PE 1, 200m of PE 1.5, and 150m of PE 2, it's suitable for a wide range of targets and situations, including hairtail and tai-rubber fishing.

Equipped with the MUTEKI MOTOR+, you won't miss a single opportunity or catch
The compact body is equipped with the compact MUTEKI MOTOR+, which delivers powerful, sustained torque. By replacing the neodymium magnet used in the MUTEKI MOTOR with a special rare-earth magnet, the reel's drive response is faster, providing a significant advantage when reeling in immediately after the lure hits the bottom or quickly cutting off the bottom after a hit near the bottom. Compared to the legendary 15 Force Master 300, the maximum reeling speed has increased by more than 30% and the actual reeling speed has also increased by approximately 10%, allowing for a more speedy fishing experience. Approach your target without missing a short window of opportunity or a precious moment of opportunity.
In addition, the new motor is approximately 10g lighter than the previous motor (weight: approximately 62g), bringing the total weight to approximately 52g. This lightweight motor allows for expanded functionality such as a longer handle and a larger LCD screen, and the overall product is lighter than the 15 Force Master 300.

Achieves fall performance equivalent to that of a manual reel
As various functions of compact electric reels continue to evolve, spool-free performance, which had previously been lacking room for improvement, has been improved. The internal gearing has been optimized for electric reels, achieving a fall speed equivalent to that of a manual reel. The improved spool-free performance improves the reel's response to the rig's movement, dramatically increasing sensitivity to bottom contact and bites during the fall. In other words, "high spool-free performance = high response to changes ⇒ good sensitivity to bottom contact and good sensitivity to bites during the fall" is a clear advantage that can be experienced in actual fishing.
As Akazawa says, "With the Force Master 300, you can feel the bottom when you're drifting the line, just like with a manual reel." Having a clear sense of bottom contact reduces snags and eliminates excess line slack, making it easier to sense a bite. For example, with tairaba lures, you can now use a head one size smaller than you'd previously use. It will also be a major advantage in squid fishing, where the bait often strikes the first rig to drop.
\The Tankenmaru screen lets you see underwater conditions in real time
The compact body features a Tanshinmaru screen of the same size as the larger model. While fishing, you can check the underwater conditions with five basic pieces of information on the large color LCD: current seabed depth, seabed shape, fish school reaction, fish size, and a 30-second bar display that indicates the passage of time. The large LCD also has a level of expressiveness far superior to dot LCDs, making it easy to see even in bright daylight, allowing you to intuitively understand the underwater conditions. The Tanshinmaru screen can also be used on vessels equipped with a Tanshinmaru main unit.

New fall lever for a slower fall
In fishing, the fall (sinking) is an important action that attracts fish. The fall lever is a mechanism that allows you to easily and accurately control the spool rotation, instead of disengaging the clutch and using your thumb. The Force Master 300 uses a new type of fall lever equipped with a one-way roller bearing inside. Even when tension is applied to the spool rotation to slow the fall speed, there is no resistance when turning the handle or winding the motor, allowing for smooth reeling. This enables more precise fall control than before, expanding strategies for using tenaya tachiuo, metal squid jigs, and tairaba lures, and allowing you to approach targets that previously did not respond.

The "instant and precise" concept. System tackle creates outstanding operability
The combination of the X-Seat Technical Gang Grip and Touch Drive creates a new level of control—our "instant precision" concept.
The Force Master 300's Touch Drive allows you to instantly reel in at the desired speed, enabling instantaneous control. Furthermore, the Touch Drive Speed Lock allows you to set intermediate speeds, allowing you to reel in at the desired speed by simply pressing and releasing your finger during the fight, achieving precise control.
The X-Seat Technical Gang Grip not only provides stability but also maneuverability. Needless to say, it allows for flexible and precise control of your rig. Furthermore, since your thumb remains free when palming, you can quickly and reliably operate the Force Master 300's Touch Drive.
Control your rod and reel with ease at every moment, from the bite to the hooking and fight. Experience this new level of control for yourself.

NEW FALL LEVER
In fishing, the fall (sinking) is an important action that attracts fish. The fall lever is a mechanism that allows you to easily and accurately control the spool rotation, instead of disengaging the clutch and using your thumb. The Force Master 300 features a new type of fall lever equipped with a one-way roller bearing inside. Even when tension is applied to the spool rotation to slow the fall speed, there is no resistance when turning the handle or reeling in the motor, allowing for smooth reeling. This more precise fall control than before expands the tactics used for tenaya tachiuo, metal squid jigs, and tairaba, allowing you to approach targets that previously did not respond.

Long crank handle
The long crank handle makes hand winding comfortable.
The Force Master 300 features a long crank handle: 65mm for the single and 60mm for the double. The longer handle allows for powerful winding even under heavy loads, making hand winding more comfortable.

Winding Distance Alarm
This function sounds an alarm when the set distance has been reeled in from the "clutch on" position or when you have begun reeling. When the desired depth (distance) is set, you can start baiting without checking the counter display. For example, when fishing for hairtail or tai-rubber, if you set the winding distance alarm to 10m and repeatedly lure the line 10 meters from the bottom, an alarm will sound when reeling in with both the handle and electric reel, regardless of water depth.
*Once the alarm sounds, further reeling without turning the clutch off will not sound again. The alarm will sound again when you turn the clutch from OFF to ON again and reel in the set distance.

Motor & Clutch Interlocking Function
When the clutch is disengaged while the motor is reeling in, this function automatically shuts off the motor. This silences the motor during the fall, allowing you to concentrate on delicate maneuvers. Furthermore, when the clutch is engaged, the electric reeling resumes responsively.
*Please use with this setting ON.

Electric constant speed winding control
This allows for near-perfect constant speed winding without affecting the amount of line wound.

Handle Speed Display
The speed you reel in with the handle is displayed on a digital counter. It's linked to the 31-position dial that drives the motor, so it can reproduce the same winding speed as a manual reel. Enjoy using it as a manual reel, too.
* Functions when ultra-fine speed control is ON.
