SHIMANO 23 Disruption Сranking C68 Type2
Overview

To refute one's own beliefs is one of the most challenging decisions. However, without introspection, there can be no progress. It's essential to reflect on one's journey to truly assess whether one has pursued the appropriate course of action. By examining the path taken, acknowledging past mistakes, and embracing new ideas, we can foster creative destruction, also known as disruption.
Disruption involves a departure from traditional norms, such as focusing on specific areas within the realm of lure fishing rod manufacturing. It's not merely about creating something straightforward; it's about dedicating one's life to crafting something exceptional.
In the realm of SHIMANO bass rods, there exists a rich history of products and proposals, including Bantam, JACKALL×SHIMANO, and Freestyle. Each of these contributions has been interwoven into the fabric of the brand's latest models, forming a legacy of innovation and evolution.

The Development Story:
The Verification Process to Achieve DISRUPTION
The concept of DISRUPTION, focusing on specific lure fields, initially selected "Big Baits" as its target. Big Baits are lures known for their potent effectiveness that cannot be easily substituted by others, attracting anglers worldwide with their allure. Therefore, it was fitting for the development team to choose Big Baits as the inaugural target for specialized craftsmanship, embodying the essence of DISRUPTION.
The development of DISRUPTION took a total of 2 years and 1 month, with verification with pro staff taking up to 10 months until completion. What was happening during this period of over a year?
There is a clear reason behind the development schedule. It was a period of verifying the history and technology of Shimano lure rods in preparation for specializing in Big Bait rods.
During this time, extensive research and testing were conducted to understand Shimano's legacy in lure rod development and to incorporate cutting-edge technologies into the Big Bait rods. This comprehensive exploration ensured that the resulting product not only met but exceeded the expectations of anglers seeking performance and innovation in Big Bait fishing.

That is where creative destruction begins. This is DISRUPTION.
By reassessing each aspect of Shimano's existing technologies and narrowing down lure targets, we aim to create rods that symbolize what lies ahead. DISRUPTION is a new lure rod brand infused with passionate determination.
After revisiting all existing design knowledge and conducting numerous hypothesis testing over a considerable amount of time, we've arrived at the true answer. True craftsmanship that overturns conventional wisdom exists here, paving the way for genuine innovation.
CRANKING C68-Type2
Crankbait #1/4-3/8oz.

Despite being a lightweight carbon rod, the CRANKING C68-Type2 allows for smooth tracking of delicate SR (shallow runner) crankbaits without interfering with their action. It features a blank with a flexible tip that accurately expresses the vibrations of the crankbait. The unique design, incorporating tungsten material in the specially crafted Excite Top, enhances the rod's responsiveness to changes in lure weight and pull resistance. The rod's tip has a distinctive weight, making it easier to load the rod during casts and better capture the water flow over the lip of the crankbait during retrieval, resulting in more precise and effective actions.
