Micro Module Gear
A new drive system in which small precision gears mesh tightly.
Ultra-small precision gears and an elaborate body housing provide a silky winding feel never experienced before. The vibration level is less than half that of conventional gears (compared to our previous products), and the increased number of meshing teeth ensures strength that surpasses conventional gears. Shimano's unique gear system combines smooth feeling with strength.

HAGANE Body
By using lightweight, highly rigid metals such as aluminum and magnesium, the reel's deflection, distortion, and twisting are firmly suppressed. It protects the delicate gear meshing and enables smooth reeling.

Infinity Drive

A new mechanism developed by Shimano to achieve stronger, lighter winding. Of the two grease bearings that support the pinion gear, the spool side bearing has the greatest rotational resistance. Furthermore, the gear support distance and thickness have been thoroughly optimized to achieve high support rigidity. The rotational resistance of the gear has been significantly reduced without reducing the gear strength.
