Antares DC, which pursues a stoic distance, has been reborn by combining the latest technologies. For the first time, the MGL spool 3 is used as a DC reel to create a trajectory that rises lightly and stretches well. The synergistic effect with the 4x8 DC brake, which enables precise control, has further refined the long-distance casting performance. S3D spool and silent tune suppress vibration spoiling rotation. In addition to the micro module gear and X-SHIP, the winding feel has been dramatically improved by increasing the number of bearings on the handle bearing.

Micro module gear
Ultra-small precision gears and elaborate body housing provide a silky winding feel you've never experienced before. The vibration level is less than half that of conventional gears (compared to our previous products). The increased number of meshing teeth also ensures strength that surpasses conventional gears. Shimano's unique gear system combines smooth feeling and strength.

X-SHIP
The large diameter of the pinion drive gear, optimal placement of both the pinion and drive gears, and two-point support by the pinion gear bearings make for a sturdy gear structure that enables light and easy reeling that is resistant to loads.

Reduced handle rattle
By increasing the number of pairings in the handle bearing section from one to two, rattle has been significantly reduced. A smooth and precise winding feeling has been achieved.
