The strong and lightweight carbon material "CI4+" is used for the body and rotor, ensuring basic rigidity while making it as lightweight as possible. For fishing for large bluefish such as yellowtail and amberjack, mainly using line No. 10 or more, we recommend the 9100 and 9120, which are robust, rigid, and easy to reel. The "HAGANE body" is used to firmly withstand the strong pull of bluefish. Moreover, the gear ratio has been revised, making it easy to reel in and not lose power. Furthermore, this reel is designed specifically for rockfish cage fishing and can be selected based on your target fish. It is equipped with Shimano's most advanced technologies, such as a smooth single drag that is designed with the target fish in mind, the "X-SHIP'' gear system that is strong and rotates as smoothly as possible, the "wide rotor'' that allows for smooth long-distance casting without the line hitting the spool even when it is at the lowest point, and the ``parallel body'' that reduces line release resistance when casting long distances.

HAGANE Gear
Our goal was to provide a rolling experience that would never change.
A block of metal is pressed under high pressure and finished with micron-level precision without cutting. A unique technology called precision cold forging produces hard, resilient gears, allowing for a smooth winding experience.

X Ship
Larger diameter drive gear, optimal placement of both pinion and drive gears, and two-point support by pinion gear bearings. These sturdy gear meshing ensures light and easy reeling that is resistant to loads.

HAGANE Body
By using lightweight and highly rigid metals such as aluminum and magnesium, the reel is prevented from bending, warping, or twisting. It protects the delicate gear meshing and enables smooth reeling.

Parallel Body
When casting, to prevent the line from hitting the rod, while keeping the position of the rod and reel the same, the center line of the spool is made parallel to the rod, which allows for smooth line release and increases casting distance.

AR-C spool
A spool with a special spool ring shape. This creates a straightening effect on the line, suppressing line trouble and achieving long-distance casting performance.

CI4+
A new carbon material that is an evolution of the lightweight CI4 carbon material. It has significantly improved rigidity and durability while retaining its lightness, making it possible to make smaller, lighter reels.

S A-RB
