It can be used to create the illusion of a dying bait swaying in the waves, and is also effective for sea bass feeding on bait that does not float to the surface. It is suitable for all seasons, not just during the bait-run season, as long as the sea bass is targeting bait near the surface, such as whitebait, Japanese sardines, saury, and halfbeaks.
