The long-awaited collaboration between Papa Otsuru and Mr. Shimazu, known for TAPER & SHAPE, has come to fruition. This is the "IRON WILL" series, embodying the steely resolve to "securely catch every fish that bites.

By dividing the main pattern more than usual and using a bias structure to cross-wrap parts of it, the strength against crushing of the blanks has been enhanced. Despite being a power-focused design, the bend curve is unexpectedly sharp and tenacious for a 24t, showing excellent flexibility. This rod allows for natural jig swimming without relying on thin lines, providing operability that induces the target to bite, and features blanks that are more resistant to breaking than the rod power might suggest. A rod that combines high-level, seemingly contradictory features has been born.

The IRONWILL634BSF has been refined as a double-foot guide, butt joint model.

Leveraging its longer 6.3 ft length, the 4 power bait model is designed for slow flap jerking, allowing the jig to swim broadly and leisurely. The flexible properties of the supple 24t graphite material make it possible to jerk comfortably without feeling the rod's length. This rod is especially effective for tuna, ideal for performing long fall jerks where the jig is sharply lifted and given extended fall times.

Designed to handle everything from tonjigi and kihada jigging around Mie, Toba to the Izu Islands, this rod is capable of managing tuna and amberjack up to 50 kg class.

All guides are lightweight with titanium frames. The Power Flap model features robust T-KWSG-SiC guides from the butt to the tip section, while the Slow Flap model uses lightweight T-KLSG-SiC-S guides only in the tip section. The top guide is equipped with a T-KGST. The guide system, optimized for each power level, not only offers assured strength but also reduces the load on the rod when it bends, thanks to the elasticity of the titanium frame. The butt guide size is #20, and the top guide sizes are #10 for the Power Flap model and #8 for the Slow Flap model.
