The spinning models of the WILDSIDE HP series have been rebuilt by combining the latest materials and manufacturing technologies with Legit Design’s expertise, using the highly popular WILDSIDE spinning lineup as the foundation.

With the increasing use of thin-diameter PE lines, the blank tuning was thoroughly re-evaluated. Special attention was given to material combinations and construction methods to create blanks that properly accommodate the no-stretch characteristics of PE line. Reinforcement with optimized aramid wrapping for each model delivers a blank that is both sensitive and highly castable while maintaining supple strength and resilience.

In bass fishing, spinning rods are often judged by stiffness, sharpness, and lightness. However, Legit Design believes that a truly effective rod is one that anglers can use effortlessly and instinctively — a rod that naturally leads to more catches. With advancements in primary carbon materials, the signature aramid reinforcement is mainly positioned in the butt section. To match the growing use of PE lines, the taper has been designed slightly closer to regular while maintaining flexibility. Along with state-of-the-art carbons such as Torayca® T1100G and M40X, the blanks incorporate carbon fibers with varying elasticity placed precisely where needed — a hallmark of Legit Design’s engineering.
