A rod designed for precise control and hooking - an alternative to the original 'Nana-Roku'.
In 2019, we launched the 7-foot 6-inch rod series, the 'Nana-Roku Series.' This length proved to be the perfect solution for close combat in shallow waters, offering a significant advantage when tackling cover. It allows anglers to carefully work through vast reed beds and gently cast rigs into complex brush areas. When a bite is detected, a powerful hookset can be performed, pulling the fish out from obstacles without hesitation—capturing the true thrill of fishing for black bass.
However, throughout the development of the Nana-Roku series, we realized that relying solely on power-focused fishing techniques wasn't always effective. In many cases, lightening the sinker or reducing the lure’s volume, paired with delicate presentations, often elicited better responses. We also discovered that the length of 7 feet 6 inches shone in an entirely different fishing style.

Why a Solid Tip & Spiral Guide?
When using lighter rigs, the fall time naturally increases, meaning there’s a higher chance of bites during the descent. The tougher the conditions, the more likely bites during the fall won't be transmitted to the hand. Instead, the line may stop moving or give a subtle jump. To detect such delicate bites, a tip that can sense the weight of the line is essential. To ensure fish take the bait without sensing resistance, we’ve employed a flexible solid tip that bends smoothly.
The spiral guide ensures that the line always remains in contact with the guide, and due to its smaller diameter, it reduces line slack, enhancing sensitivity and precision.
When fishing near bottom cover, the solid tip ensures that rigs can be dropped tightly without bouncing off obstacles.
The rod retains the power of the original model, allowing it to perform as a rod designed for precise control and effective hook setting.

KTC762F-SPG:
This is the light action model in the series with the most flexible tip. It is ideal for lures that are typically used with spinning tackle, such as a downshot rig with a 1/16oz sinker + 3-inch class worm, 1/16 to 1/8oz small rubber jigs, and 4-inch worms with 1/64 to 1/16oz nail sinkers. It is suitable for targeting bottom cover like wave blocks and rock piles, and can also handle shads under 60mm.
KTC763F-SPG:
This flagship model symbolizes the 'F-SPEC' series and is recommended as the one to choose if you're picking just one. The action is a "light plus," sitting between light and medium-light. It handles a range of lures, including downshot rigs and small rubber jigs from 1/8 to 3/16oz, and neko rigs with 3/32 to 1/8oz nail sinkers for 5-inch worms. It also pairs well with 1/8oz class bladed jigs, making it an excellent match for bait finesse.
KTC764F-SPG:
A medium-light action rod that fits compact cover jigs, like the 'Model I Ver.2.0,' weighing 3/16 to 1/4oz. For Texas rigs, free rigs, and leaderless downshot rigs, a 3/16oz sinker is ideal. It also excels with high-density backslide worms in the 3-inch class. For moving baits, it is suitable for light spinnerbaits in the 1/4oz class.
KTC766F-SPG:
This medium-heavy action rod, equipped with a proper tip, is designed to handle dense cover. Similar to the 764F model, but re-engineered to focus more on sensitivity and lighter designs. A 3/8oz sinker works well for various rigs, and in open water, it performs with 1/2oz football jigs like the Model II. It also does a great job with shallow crankbaits and 3/8oz spinnerbaits.
Each of the four 'F-SPEC' models comes with images showing the bending curve with a 500g weight hung while the grip is fixed. Although the bending curve differs according to the rod's power, you can see that the taper, which smoothly bends from the tip, is consistent across the models.
Precautions for Use:
The 'F-SPEC' series features a solid tip designed for an extremely fast action. Therefore, when casting, retrieving, or landing, please take extra care not to reel the lure too close to the tip (do not overwind the line). If the lure or similar objects are reeled in too close, it can place excessive stress on the tip, potentially damaging or breaking the rod.
