The upper reaches of rivers, called mountain streams, often present challenging conditions for fishing due to constraints on positioning and environments covered with vegetation. However, such places often harbor numerous mountain fish, including large specimens. Casting into these formidable spots and enticing mountain fish out can be considered the essence of this type of fishing. Yet, it's also true that feeling stressed due to obstacles is not uncommon.

With that in mind, the aim of the Kawasemi Rhapsody was to alleviate the stress of approaching these areas. For example, selecting a length that allows for focused casting without being distracted by overhead branches, rocks behind, or grass underfoot. Moreover, by designing actions for each model, it caters to the diverse variations and techniques of lures. Adopting SiC-S rings has further improved the casting feel of lightweight lures, commonly used in small streams. On the other hand, heavy sinking lures with high initial speed now benefit from smoother line release after casting, allowing them to be cast even farther.

Sometimes, it's casting to the edge of a rock with a sidehand technique, and other times, it's diving under branches with an underhand cast...

With the support of this rod, it might become possible to deliver lures to points that were previously difficult to reach, revitalizing one's approach to fishing.

Kawasemi Rhapsody KWSM-S510LML
