The taper design is focused on bending smoothly up to the butt section, creating a powerful rod that can pull in fish forcefully while letting them tire out. It features a delicate yet firm tip that is easy to manipulate, suitable for jig heads, to avoid snags in rocky areas. By reducing the diameter of the mid guides from top to middle, it minimizes the decrease in casting distance while optimizing the rod action for bottom fishing. It is also suitable for light shore jigging and small pelagic fish on shorelines other than rocky areas, such as surf and breakwaters.
