This is a very well-balanced carp hook that has been developed through three years of practical testing. The angle of the hook tip is inward, allowing for easy penetration, and it is less likely to be swallowed even when strongly inhaled, naturally hooking the fish at the mouth. By applying a ‘belly hit’ processing only to the curve of the hook, the strength of the belly is maintained while improving bait retention. It is an all-purpose type, but it is particularly effective when used as the lower hook for set fishing during winter with various bait types. The ‘V-head’ processing at the base enhances the knot strength of the line.
