Node System. This new structure fully maximizes the blank's original performance, improving both quality and stability.

This short-power glass rod is designed for casting big crankbaits and large topwater lures, such as feathered baits, with precision into tight spots to draw out bass hiding in cover. It offers abundant power while maintaining the flexible performance unique to 100% pure glass rods, ensuring reliable hook-ups, especially with Maki Mono-style bites. Additionally, the tip-heavy adjustment of this SP model makes it user-friendly for spinnerbait games, which are typically challenging for glass rods. V.NODE System:

The V.NODE system is an advanced blank construction utilizing a unique taper design, specifically crafted for the "Maki Mono" rod series. This system enhances the blank's performance by addressing the key challenge of insufficient tape pressure during the baking process, particularly in the butt section. The solution results in a highly dense and well-constructed blank. The blank is divided into separate tip-to-middle and butt sections, each optimized for the best taping and baking process. These sections are connected using a short spigot joint, forming a one-piece rod with a natural curve. The connection acts like a bamboo node, adding strength against collapse and enhancing the blank's overall strength and power. Despite a slight increase in blank weight, the precise construction allows for fewer base coats and maintains a lightweight finish comparable to earlier models.

The reel seat body is set on the shaft-through blank featuring Fuji’s high-strength original paint. The lightweight and strong cross-carbon pipe and black anodized aluminum foregrip provide a non-slip surface and optimal functionality. The rear grip is a straight cork type with an authentic and non-slip design, providing superior grip and comfort.

Slit Style Rod Bag:

To protect the rod during transport and storage, TAPER&SHAPE recommends using the included slit-style rod bag.
