Overview: The SEVENSENSE AR (All-Round) platform is designed for all fish species and all fields (some exceptions apply). From this platform, after 4 years of development, G-CRAFT has created the MONSTER PLUGGER MPB-815AR, a bigbait rod with a maximum lure capacity of 5oz.
Designed with shore casting and lightweight feel in mind, this rod measures 8'1" and comfortably handles lures from roughly 35g to 130g, with minimum lure weights around 20g for crankbaits and other rolling lures. The tip is designed as a “responsive tip”: a 220mm pencil-style top that can handle 4oz lures lightly, while jointed baits from 2oz–4oz can be manipulated delicately. The butt section allows full casts of 5oz (140g) lures, leveraging the high-repulsion and stiffness of the high-modulus blank.
The MPB-815AR retains a crisply responsive casting feel, while the rod naturally bends at the butt when a fish is hooked—an essential feature that reflects G-CRAFT’s design philosophy. This balance of power and sensitivity is what makes this rod truly unique.
