Horizon Distance Leads were designed using CAD to ensure optimal aerodynamics and maximum casting distance. The six-sided profile prevents rolling and increases rig effectiveness. The gently tapered design with a forward-shifted center of gravity provides excellent accuracy and stability during flight. While primarily designed as a casting weight, the streamlined shape of the Horizon leads to a smooth entry into the water, preventing unnecessary disturbance at the fishing spot. In lighter weight classes, this makes the lead ideal for use in smaller bodies of water. Each lead is precisely cast to ensure a unique profile and consistent shape throughout the series. The lead features an extremely strong, perfectly formed stainless steel eyelet connected to a special swivel that widens slightly at the top. This design is ideal for use in conjunction with safety lead clips. If needed, the swivel can be removed and the lead can be attached to the clip using the eyelet without any modification. Available in ¼ ounce weight increments to cover every scenario, Horizon Distance Leads have a matte finish in earthy brown tones with gravel speckles for optimal camouflage.
