DAIWA Seaborg 1200J

One of the strongest machines in the Seaborg series, born from repeated rigorous testing and equipped with the latest technology with the aim of catching the big fish of your dreams. A standard single gear model with the same basic performance as the SEABORG 1200MJ. The abundant line capacity of PE8-1000m corresponds to a wide range of areas, from large fish such as yellowfin tuna, amberjack, and ara to full-scale deep waters targeting alfonsino and black rockfish.

JOG power lever
By moving the position of the power lever to the center of the body and changing the shape from a lever to a jog dial style, you can wind up and turn the clutch on and off with just the thumb of the hand holding the rod, completely freeing your free hand from lever operation and allowing you to concentrate on rod operation. Free operation with just one thumb allows for delicate operation of the lever, making it possible to control the winding speed at will.

MAGSEALED BALL BEARING
DAIWA has succeeded in making the ball bearing itself mag-shielded for the first time in the world with its unique technology. The magnetic liquid wall prevents water and foreign matter from entering the ball bearing, and while maintaining the original rotation performance of the ball bearing, it significantly eliminates rust, salt buildup, and abnormal noise.

ATD
The ATD operates smoothly and continues to work smoothly in accordance with the pull of the fish. Pursuing smooth start and tracking, it is now possible to concentrate on the fight without worrying about the drag setting.

Synchronized Level Wind A mechanism in which the left and right reciprocating motion of the level wind (line guide) is linked according to the spool rotation both when the rig is dropped and when it is wound up. It maintains a clean line winding state and achieves a smooth and high-speed rig drop. In addition, the drag is also smooth to pull out.

Bait timer & bait timer winding A bait timer that allows you to accurately know the time to cast the bait with the timer display function. You can set the time from when you cast the bait to when you retrieve it, and it will be retrieved automatically by electricity. The bait timer winding function allows for accurate hand-returning.
Winding speed actual value display A function that displays the actual winding speed. Useful as a guide for the speed when winding.
Boat side stop remaining time display A function that displays the remaining time until the boat side stops. Useful when targeting deep areas.
Selectable boat side stop A function that automatically stops winding when the electric winding is wound up to the set length. If you set it to a length that is convenient for reeling in, the hand-returning efficiency will double, and it also helps prevent reeling in, which is the main cause of rod damage.
Slow boat side stop A function that prevents the electric winding from coming off due to impact by stopping slowly when it stops at the boat side.
Washable It can be washed with water using a neutral detergent (however, washing it by submerging it in water or using hot water is strictly prohibited).
