DAIWA 19 Millionaire CT SV 70SHL
Overview
The famous round-shaped Millionnaire disappeared from the bass fishing scene in 2008 and gave its stage of activity to saltwater. In 2019, it is finally returning to the bass fishing scene with a new basic unit. It is finally entering the world of fast moving reels, which is dominated by many strong players.
Its name is Millionnaire CT SV.
In addition to the trouble-free SV, which has a good reputation, a 30φ small-diameter CT spool is introduced all at once. Two models are available with a gear ratio of 6.3 70H and 7.2 70SH. If you look at the handle winding length per one turn of 59 cm and 68 cm, you will naturally notice that the specifications are focused on winding.
The reason why Millionnaire is a CT concept. It is to thoroughly pursue the advantages of fast moving, especially small and lightweight models. It can smoothly send out the line even with light lures under 5g, which had difficulty in castability with conventional bait reels, and reach the target spot without difficulty. The G1 duralumin material boasts plenty of strength, and is also capable of handling heavy lures. It is a reliable and powerful ally that can play two or three roles in one.
Above all, it is noteworthy for its excellent winding sensitivity. The all-machine cut body realizes winding without any shaking. At the same time, the direct feel of the metal conveys even the slightest changes in the water to the hand, helping the angler maintain concentration. It goes without saying that DAIWA technology, which has been improving its precision with the times, has ensured an even greater sense of rigidity in the body.
The new Millionnaire has a robust body supported by a solid frame and an ultra-compact, high-performance engine. Now you are ready to catch that priceless fish in the fierce battlegrounds where you are forced into high pressure, or on the stage of a competition.
SV-Concept
Super versatile concept
Realizes trouble-free fishing in all situations and with all lures. A super versatile brake concept that can handle all lures, from light to heavy, at any distance, from close to medium to long. The selection of rods and lures that can be combined is also very wide, making it suitable for lure fishing for many species of fish, both in saltwater and freshwater.
UTD (Ultimate Tournament Drag)
This is a Daiwa drag system that eliminates the initial bite when the drag first starts working, achieving a smooth drag without stickiness (unevenness), while also providing maximum drag power the more you tighten it.
SPEED SHAFT
A shaft system that connects the spool and gear, eliminating the need for a shaft that is directly connected to the gear in the conventional spool structure. The spool section is supported only by the bottom bracket, making it lightweight and without extra load. This achieves both ideal spool rotation when casting and excellent power when winding.
Airbrake System
This brake system significantly improves accuracy while providing stress-free usability with extremely little backlash. The brakes work well during full casts, and the inductor rotor does not pop out during low rotations such as pitching, allowing you to shoot with a low trajectory, achieving a high level of pitching and casting.
