DAIWA 18 Blast LT5000D-CXH
Overview
Long-awaited by salt anglers! The high-rigidity SW spinning reel "BLAST" is overwhelming with its shocking lightness.
It can be used for a wide range of purposes, including light jigging and casting games in coastal waters, shore jigging games from the shore, and super light jigging. A high-rigidity LT spinning reel that is useful in the SW scene.

MAGSEALED
A waterproof structure that shuts out seawater and dust by creating a magnetic oil wall in the gap between the body and rotor. Because the body and rotor are non-contact, the initial rotation performance is maintained for a long time while maintaining light and smooth rotation. Most of the causes of abnormal rotation noise are salt and foreign matter intrusion. Of course, there are cases where it occurs when the reel is accidentally dropped into water, but excluding such cases, the occurrence rate of abnormal rotation noise in Mag-Shielded reels is significantly reduced. Moreover, this ratio is appearing in the data as a large difference the longer the time has passed since the introduction of Mag-Shield. This means that the longer it is used, the more effective it becomes. In other words, it proves that the dustproof and waterproof capabilities of Mag-Shield are at a very high level.

ATD [Automatic Drag System]
This next-generation drag starts smoothly and continues to work smoothly following the pull of the fish. Another feature of the ATD for large spinning reels is that the power change in the drag setting value is small. With conventional drags, drag force naturally decreases during long fights where the drag is pulled out, or when such fights are repeated. Daiwa has developed a drag with less drag force decrease by focusing on this aspect. This allows you to concentrate on the fight when a fish hits, and you can continue to use the drag without having to reset the drag value even in situations where a large fish is hit that requires continuous drag. This drag reduces drag adjustments during the fight, allowing you to catch fish quickly while preventing line breaks.

AIR ROTOR
The unique Air Rotor is a rotor revolution. The unique, optimal rim shape distributes the load, resulting in significant weight reduction with the same strength. The lighter rotor not only reduces the weight of the reel, but also improves the rotational response, contributing to the "winding sensitivity" of the reel itself. The adoption of the new lightweight Air Rotor has achieved rotational performance with a high response that exceeds its class, even impressing experts.

Tough Digigear
A strong heart is essential to withstand harsh environments. The "Tough Digigear" keeps rotation smooth for longer.
Super metal body
Super Metal is a special aluminum material that has extremely high rigidity compared to plastic bodies. The exterior is solid, so the body does not warp even when subjected to high loads, and the internal gears do not get out of sync, providing strong winding power and durability.
DS4 (rotor material)
A special fiber-reinforced plastic made specifically for reels, created using Daiwa's unique technology.
Aluminum machine cut handle
The machine-cut aluminum handle is highly rigid and provides a stable winding feel.
Aluminum spool
Lightweight and rigid metal spool.
Perfect Line Stopper
A new type of line stopper that is compatible with thin lines such as PE and thick lines such as leaders. It is easy to hook, does not come off easily, and is easy to remove. It is also lightweight. Another major improvement is that it is now repairable.
LC-ABS spool
New spool design that achieves long casting distance and trouble-free performance.
Cross wrap
By using a twill winding method with a large winding angle, the line is wound crosswise to prevent it from digging into the spool winding section or slipping off. This method significantly reduces line trouble, especially when using thin thread or PE line, and at the same time achieves a comfortable cast.
Air veil
The veil shape allows the line to flow smoothly to the line roller, greatly reducing tangled line problems.
Twist Buster II
This structure has enabled a significant increase in strength without changing the weight.
By tapering the line roller and rolling the line, this structure has significantly eliminated the line twist that occurs when the roller rotates, which was previously thought to be the fate of spinning reels.
Rotor brake
By applying a brake to the rotor rotation when the veil is opened, the handle does not move due to the shock when casting.
A mechanism to prevent the veil from accidentally flipping over due to the veil being pulled.
CRBB
It is more durable than the conventional CRBB. By using the standard CRBB and the new CRBB in the right place, the reel's potential is improved.
Shower washable
Can be washed under running water (after washing, maintenance is required according to the instruction manual)
