DAIWA 17 Tana Sensor 400
Overview
The definitive Tana Sensor series of small hand-wound reels equipped with a convenient counter that allows you to attack the exact depth easily and reliably. The 250 and 300 sizes are equipped with ATD, making it easier to fight with large fish and expanding the range of targets. The combination of the large EVA handle knob and 72.5mm long handle arm realizes even more powerful winding. The 250 is equipped with a quick-release clutch.
Bait timer: Timer function that notifies you of the elapsed time after casting in 1-minute increments. Comes with ON/OFF function.
Fishing Tana Memory: This function automatically memorizes the depth when 5 seconds or more have passed at a certain depth. When you press the "MEMO" switch the next time you cast, the memorized depth (depth from above) is displayed, so you can accurately aim at the same depth.
Shelf Clutch: The clutch is turned off (the spool is free) only while the clutch lever is pressed with your finger, and the clutch is automatically turned on as soon as you release your finger. This mechanism eliminates the need to turn the handle to turn the clutch on, making it extremely quick and easy to use in fishing where you need to frequently readjust the fishing depth or where delicate and accurate fishing is essential.
Synchro Level Wind: This mechanism links the left and right reciprocating motion of the level wind (line guide) with the spool rotation when dropping and reeling the rig. It keeps the line wound in a neat condition and realizes a smooth and high-speed rig drop.
Boring body: The sleek body shape with few bumps and grooves makes it less likely for bait to get clogged.
