By reducing resin content even further than HVF, SVF carbon densely packs more carbon fibers to achieve lighter weight, greater power, and a slimmer blank profile.

X45

Through extensive research, DAIWA determined that suppressing rod twist most effectively requires carbon bias layers oriented at ±45°, in addition to conventional 0° and 90° structures.
The X45 construction dramatically reduces torsional distortion during casting, action, hook-setting, and fighting, resulting in major improvements in power, control, and sensitivity.

Applied only to models 6011ULXS-ST and 6012ULXS-ST.

V-JOINT

By using a bias-structured carbon sheet at the joint section, V-JOINT delivers a smooth, one-piece-like bend with minimal distortion. Compared to non-equipped models, it greatly improves power, stiffness, and recovery speed, creating a more ideal rod action.
