■ Fishing ground and season

The fishing grounds are spread all over the country, but the areas where the balance fishing method is mainly used are mainly east of Chukyo such as Tokyo Bay, Ise Bay, Suruga Bay, and Toyama Bay. The areas where the Tenya fishing method is mainly used are west of Kansai such as Osaka Bay, Seto Inland Sea, Bungo Channel, and Toyama Bay (partly). Even in other areas, fishing methods differ depending on the boat accommodation, and there are also other fishing methods and mixed boats with jigging. In recent years, hairtails have begun to be caught in Joban and Tohoku, so there is a high possibility that they will become established as fishing even in areas that have not been targeted fish until now.
The season is getting longer year by year, but the main season is from July to January. From summer to early autumn, many small fish are seen and the depth of fishing is shallow, so it can be said that it is a few fishing seasons. On the other hand, from autumn to winter, the depth of the water becomes deeper and it becomes difficult to do several fishing, but the good type is the center, and it can be said that the taste increases due to the fat riding.

■ Tenbin

The weight used for rods varies depending on the season, area, and water depth, and there are various types such as No. 30 to 100, so a rod choice that matches the weight is required. Hairtails that use weights of around 30 to 40 are often called light hairtails, and hairtails that use weights of 60 to 100 are often called (normal) hairtails.
As the reel, a small double-screw reel or a small electric reel is used. If the shallow area is the center, the small double-screw reel will be the center, and PE1 to 1.5 will be used. If the deep field is the center, use electric reels up to No. 300 because of the good rework, and the PE line will be centered around No. 2. Dotted gizzards and mackerel strips are often used as bait in Tokyo Bay, and saury strips are often used in other areas. Many hairtail needles have a ken, and they are sewn to feed. In addition, it is important to feed straight so that the food does not rotate in the water.

■ Tenya
Although the weight of the tenya used varies depending on the area, the tenya of No. 30 to 50 is generally used. No. 40 in Osaka Bay, No. 30-40 in the Seto Inland Sea, and No. 50 in the Bungo Channel (check it out because it depends on the boat inn). A small electric reel is used as the reel. Manual winding double-screw reels are also used in the Seto Inland Sea, where the water depth is partially shallow. The 200th electric reel is the center, and PE2 is the standard thread. .. The mechanism is as shown in the figure, and hairtail is used. As mentioned above, the weight is generally No. 30 to 50. A leader is indispensable for dealing with hairtails with sharp teeth, and fluorocarbon Nos. 8 to 10 are often used. The wire may be attached on top of the tenya, but it is not recommended because it reduces atari and hinders unwinding during festivals. Also, it is not recommended to attach a chemical light to the leader from the viewpoint of receiving the tide. For food, use one sardine or saury. ■ BRAIDING X
