The S66ML is a versatile model that truly shines in tough modern fields. With a fast-tapered tip featuring a sturdy butt transformed into a "V-shaped taper," it concentrates the weight of the lure for easy casting, while its robust butt ensures sharp casts with excellent straightness.

Particularly effective for lightweight lures prone to mid-air rotation during casting, such as balsa-made shad plugs or flat-sided cranks that are easily influenced by wind drift, it enables long and accurate casts with sharp speed and power.

During casting, you can feel its crisp high elasticity, yet the V-shaped taper at the tip eliminates the stiff winding sensation characteristic of highly elastic rods during straight retrieves, allowing the tip to dance and slacken the line for a gentle pull.

When in contact with the bottom, it rebounds without disrupting its trajectory, avoiding sudden snags, and allowing for clean dodging during reeling. Upon a bite, the V-shaped tip smoothly enters, leaving the hook point in the fish's mouth without bouncing, enabling automatic hooksets from the bend to the butt.
